One of the ways the Foundation supports the JMU ROTC program is to provide scholarship money designed to attract the best incoming cadets. Currently, JMU must compete with other universities (with aggressive and enviable financial discounts, especially for out-of-state candidates) for top tier talent. It is our intention to make deciding to come to JMU a non-decision.  

Starting this year for the Class of 2028, we will provide $15,000 of funding per year that the Professor of Military Science (PMS) can use to recruit new cadets.  The Foundation scholarships will help incoming students who have received 3-year ROTC scholarships bridge the gap for the full costs of attending JMU for four years.
